World Class Junior Golf

Welcome to the North Carolina Golf Foundation, Inc.

The North Carolina Junior Golf Foundation (NCJFG) is a volunteer, non-profit organization formed for the benefit of junior golfers. The organization provides affordable, high level, nationally ranked competitions for all junior golfers in North Carolina as well as other states and countries.

The NCJGF:

  • Operates the North Carolina Junior Tour
  • Utilizes volunteers dedicated to junior golf
  • Holds tournaments at top courses in the state
  • Emphasizes affordability, quality and integrity
  • Solicits player input through our Player Representative(s)
  • Provides FREE Membership

The North Carolina Junior tour is for all junior golfers that are in middle or high school and are 18 years old and younger. Players are welcome from other states and countries in addition to North Carolina. Players that have graduated high school may play the summer following their commencement. Once a player has started college or turns 19, they are no longer eligible to play. The NCJGF reserves the right to grant conditional status to younger players if they demonstrate exceptional playing capability and maturity.

In order to promote affordable tournament golf among junior golfers, membership in the North Carolina Junior Golf Foundation is FREE of charge. Simply complete the membership form online. Players must agree to abide by the Code of Conduct before they may enter events. Additionally, a parent/legal guardian must review and agree to the waiver of liability for participation in NCJGF events.

Player Advisory Council

The Player Advisory Council provides valuable input to the Board of Directors regarding the types and formats of tournaments. The Player Advisory Council is made up of Player Representatives who provide input to the Board of Directors and/or Tournament Directors.

Duties of Player Representatives / Members of Advisory Council include:

  • Represent player interest to the Board
  • Bring ideas / suggestions to the Board
  • Assist the Board to develop long term strategies for the Foundation
  • Serves as a liaison between players and the Board
